About Jeanne
After 16 years in libraries, enjoying research, local history and then discovering the satisfaction of creating strong community engagement within the library space, it seemed the right time to evolve and move that skill and passion into another area.
Before going into libraries I worked with disabled people in their own homes. Those experiences taught me the true meaning of never judging a book by its cover – the stories I heard and the amazing journeys that people had gone through and are still going through, stayed with me.
Going into libraries from there was a natural progression. I worked full time, finished a degree and immersed myself into the community life and stories.
Writing is a human expression that everyone can relate to – whether a story, a blog about cooking or a letter to be written. Writing is communication whether for business or on a more personal level.
This change of direction is still about community but in a different format. Proofreading and editing is doing what I have always done for myself and others – making sure that what you have written is conveyed and expressed in the best way for you to share.
Thank you,
Jeanne Clifton.
